Dixie Albanez is a graphic designer and illustrator based in Edmonton, Alberta. She has worked in various industries in her professional career, including the mobile game industry and the printing industry. In 2008 Dixie graduated from the Art Institute of Burnaby BC, earning a diploma in Animation and Design. After years of working as a freelance Graphic Designer, she decided to update her design knowledge by completing a Visual Design Certificate from NAIT in 2016. In 2020 she completed a Digital Marketing Certificate from NAIT. Working as a Graphic Designer within the Printing Industry for the past 9 years, she hopes to put her experience and knowledge to the test by one day working for a Branding and Creative Agency. Highly experienced with the Adobe suite programs including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Acrobat, she does her best to keep up with the design industries evolving trends. Dixie has been fortunate enough to be able to work on various branding projects for local Edmonton companies and is always ready for the next project.
